Brought my truck in for a blown head gasket. Their only solution? A new or rebuilt motor for $8,000 with a 2-4 week wait. No attempt at an actual repair, just the most expensive option possible, take it or leave it. Their own description says they are "your top choice for all your auto and fleet repair needs" and that they "service all makes and models of all ages." Apparently that doesn't include repairing a head gasket, a standard job any competent shop will do. I paid $260 just to hear that. Not for a repair. Not for parts. Just for the privilege of being handed the most expensive bid possible and shown the door. Got a second opinion the same day. Two hours of labor including machining. Done. I essentially paid $260 to have my truck towed somewhere else. If your problem is anything beyond a flat tire, or maybe some undercoating, save yourself the time and money and find someone who actually wants the work.

Travis is the man. He did a huge job for me which included taking the motor out of my prized possession corvette and making it a powerhouse ! Guys a top tier technician and this shop deserves some recognition. Thanks guys !

My fueling issue wasn't complicate, but it needed fairly immediate attention. The CAR team worked me into a busy schedule, were willing to check a few other maintenance items off the list, and got my truck back on the road. Looking forward to making Classic Auto Repair my regular service shop.
